  • Qualified solicitors only

The successful candidate must possess 5+ years experience in criminal defence. The role demands an ability to build rapport with clients.

NON FEE-EARNING POSITIONS

This is a full-time permanent position starting immediately. 

 

Essential credentials:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience gained within a similar position
  • Sound understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Experience of Legal Aid billing
  • Experience of Quill Interactive legal accounts system
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Desirable:

  • Experience of Sage payroll system

Job description:

  • Support two offices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end procedures
  • Payroll
  • VAT returns
  • Office and client account transfers
  • CHAPS and BACS payments
  • Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
