Sophie Nivoit-Graham

Sophie joined the firm in November 2022 and is head of our conveyancing new build/shared ownership department which is a new venture for the firm. My focus it is about giving our clients the best service. This particular area of law is fast and furious.

The name is French for those who will have guessed so I am obviously fluent in the lingo. This could come handy for any of you who have French speaking clients. I am also conversant in Spanish and German.  The Graham bit I have adopted from the in-laws. Not that I am married. Fortunately, I have some experience in family/matrimonial law AND criminal law when I was training to become a Solicitor.

I qualified as a Solicitor 14 years ago and worked as civil litigator for 9 years straight after. I used to deal with accidents abroad mainly, including road traffic accidents and assaults. This was very niche. By accident (just as above but without the injury) I fell back into my favourite law of conveyancing 5 years ago specialising in New Build Shared Ownership. And here I am.

In my spare time? The little I have is spent running the home just as tight as I do my files. Only with large amounts of wine. Strictly French of course.
