You may have entered a contract with a person or business and something has gone wrong so that you need legal advice. We will advise what you can do and how we can help you with the matter including any court action if required.

Our specialist civil solicitors are here to provide thorough and confidential legal advice.

Feel free to write to us if you have a question about your matter. We are more than happy to answer your queries and assist you with your matter should you choose to instruct us.

What is Civil Litigation?

Civil litigation covers a number of areas of law including Disputes between Consumers or on behalf of Businesses.  It includes Landlord and Tenant disputes, Boundary disputes, Consumer and Contractual disputes, Bankruptcy matters and Debt recovery.  We have set out some detail below.

We have a team of experienced lawyers who can assist you and provide advice and assistance with any court action. As court action is costly we will try to assist you in resolving the problem either before you go to court or how it can be concluded as quickly and at the least cost to you as possible.

Disputes by consumers or on behalf of businesses

These can include helping you with a problem relating to something you have purchased.  We provide legal advice on your position and what action you can take.  We can also help you to deal with the person or business with whom you have a dispute.

We will also advise what help we can give with any court proceedings or action to take.

Debt recovery

We can help you recover a debt due to you.  Firstly we will write a letter of claim to the person or business owing you money.  If payment isn’t made within a given time limit of 28 days we can advise you about court proceedings up to obtaining a county court judgment.

We can also provide advice upon how to enforce a judgment you have obtained and help you with that.
